You can also contact me if you’d like personal writing coaching and/ or instruction.

So, what can you expect to find on this blog? Basically information which will help you to write a book, whether fiction or nonfiction, and get it published.

And who am I to tell you how to write a book, you may be thinking?

I’m an author, writer and copywriter. Over my 30 year writing career, I’ve written both fiction and nonfiction, and have published many books.

I started my writing career writing a series of romance novels, which were published by MacDonald-Futura in the UK. I’ve also written many nonfiction books, on topics ranging from self-help to the Internet and making money. I wrote one of the first books on making the Internet work for business, which was published in 1998 by Allen & Unwin.

Why a membership site for authors?

Let’s get the term “author” defined first: to me, an author is someone who writes books. Writers write everything else.

I decided to create an authors’ membership site to help my students - and you.

Although I’ve been teaching writing for many years, I’ve been teaching primarily copywriting and freelance writing, rather than how to write books. However, many of my students are writing books, so I’ve created the new site and blog because it will help them, and you as well.
